Lovely location. Serene atmosphere Close to all amenities and activities. The nest itself holds multiple activities within the berg.

Totally relaxing surrounded by beautiful view a d friendly people

Breakfast was great. Prepared on time . There was more than enough food available. Friendly staff.

The dinner was good. One night only beef and pork was served . As Hindus probably a chicken or lamb roast could have been prepared .

It was a pleasant stay despite the few hiccups.

The room was clean and comfortable situated in a well-kept garden. Nice surroundings and a nice walk along the river. Enjoyed tea on veranda. staff was friendly and reacted promptly to requests for assistance.

TV did not work properly, but staff managed to sort it out. Took too long for warm water to reach he bathroom and taps leaked.

The views are amazing from the property. It is within close proximity to Monks Cowl.

The food was average, some meals better than others. One can tell that it is mass produced and kept warm, compared to made fresh per person, as it often arrived warm or cold. The room can be modernized easily, and the linen and towels refreshed as the towels were fraying etc. Additionally, the receptionists did not know what was good to do around the area, we had to figure out ourselves where to hike from and discovered The Chocolate Factory complex by driving past it, nor were we told about meal times etc.

On our arrival the bathroom was smelling urine and the bathroom floor was sticky and the family room no 48 doesn't have privacy and bar fridge.The bed was little hard for me.

Accommodation was cosy. Staff were friendly and very accommodating.

The rooms did not have a refrigerator. Did not cater for my dietary preferences. Dstv channels were limited. No WiFi.

I loved the scenery and the food was good.

No fresh fruit at breakfast. This was confusing and simply weird. Offering canned fruit instead of fresh fruit is ridiculous.

Great to be back in the 'berg and stay at a hotel at a reasonable price

All the food was really great, although more options for lunch would have been appreciated.

Unfortunately my room had an interleadins door to the next room. As a result I could hear almost every word my neighbours said, and they were not being unacceptably noisy at all.

Excellent lawn bowls facilities, friendly staff but buildings and infrastructure needs attention

Good value for money and friendly staff. Lawn bowls facilities are the main reason that we will return.

The Nest needs a lot of tender love and care.
